He has developed and conducted his own training modules. These programs include leadership training (Engaging Executives); supervisory training (Supervise Now!); train the trainers; team building (Team ++); service excellence (Excellent! It 's All About Attitude!); strategic planning, vision, mission & value statements writing, values formation and several skills development modules (food service, butler service, front office, concierge service and housekeeping).

In the aspect of executive recruitment, he has placed top level professionals specifically general managers, resident managers, f&b directors, executive chefs, pastry chefs, specialty chefs (Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Thai, French, Italian, Western), rooms directors, sales & marketing directors, financial controllers and human resources directors. Many of his placements are expatriates. His placements also include second level managers like front office managers, chief engineers and executive housekeepers.

Overseas, Vic staffed the Shangri-la's Barr-Al Jissah Resort & Spa in Muscat, Oman with over 300 Filipino hotel professionals up to manager levels during it's opening in 2005. He also staffed the Dusit Thani Dubai, the Movenpick Kuwait and the W Qatar. While he was with Shangri-la, he was deeply exposed to the different Asian cultures in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hongkong. Earlier, during his time with Philippine Airlines, Vic was based in Seattle, Washington, USA for the special in-flight training of the Boing 747's. A year later, he was sent to Tolouse, France this time to train for our acquisition of the Airbus 300's.

Vic is an adviser for two institutions, Center for Culinary Arts Manila (CCA) which is recognised as the pioneer and leading culinary institute in the country and the Asian School of Hospitality Arts (ASHA) which has five campuses all over the Philippines. He is a columnist for the leading industry trade magazine F&B World as well as for Cruising, Going Places Magazine. These two magazines are published by the top publishing companies in the country, Inquirer and Bulletin. Vic's first authored booked entitled 'Hospitality Superstars' will be launched in July 2014. His second book entitled 'History of International Hotel Chains in the Philippine' will be published in June 2015.
